Let z Manily bol v poriadku, na letisku v KK sme cakali hodinu na bus do mesta, ale marne, ziaden nechodil. Na informaciach nam povedali, ze pride, ale nic nechodilo. Nakoniec sme s jednou japonskou dvojicou zobrali minivan za 20MYR do mesta, doviezol nas az k hotelu, takze to bolo super. Hned oproti hotelu bol seafood market, takze same dobroty, vacsinou zive morske ryby v akvariach, market aj so stolmi na jedenie o rozlohe asi 50 x 50 m, takze taka mala telocvicna plna ryb, stolov a stoliciek s cistym prestieranym a dobrou obsluhou. Ceny za 100g ryb asi 6-10MYR, 15MYR za 100g king prawns a vselijake dobroty ako stone fish, baracudy, morske hady, lobstre, red snapery, atmosfera super
. Vecer sme sa presli trochu po centre mesta, v ktorom bolo vsade plno hotelov a restauracii a vyzeralo to, ze mesto je dost plne turistov. Na izbe sme mali konecne wifi, tak som mohol konecne pozriet maily, uploadnut foto a urobit blog. Na druhy den rano sme si dali ranajky a povodne sme chceli ist na indonezsku ambasadu, ale ako to chodi, mali akysi moslimsky sviatok, takze nic sa nedalo robit, mali sme cas trochu vegetit, dat si oprat veci, pozriet miestne trhy so super ovocim. Pozreli sme aj pristavy a dali si dobry obed v restauracii. Obchody boli skoro vsetky zavrete, takze len taka pohodicka a poobedna siesta na izbe. Vecer sme isli zas do mesta a hned za luxusnym Le Meridien hotelom bol vecerny food market pri mori, jedla od vymyslu sveta, sladke, slane, surove, varene, cerstve ryby, kuracie a hovadzie maso, do toho pokriky obchodnikov, za kolko to predavaju. Ja som robil zopar foto a vsetci sa chceli fotit. Ovocie a zelenina boli tiez pekne a dobre a na zaver vecera sme si dali este cerstvy kokosovy orech. Proste super a to hned vedla luxusneho hotela. Tretie rano sme sa vybrali na ambasadu, kedze tam maju dress code, tak som musel vytiahnut po 3 mesiacoch dlhe rifle z mojho ruksaku, lebo vyzadovali pre vstup dlhe nohavice. Slecna za okienkom bola mila, az sa to zdalo nemozne, no ked nam povedala cenu za viza, pochopil som. Za viza chceli asi 45 euro. Kedze ideme do Indonezie cez Tawau lodou a nie je mozne poziadat o visa on arrival, musime si ich vybavit v Malajzii. Takze sme ostali sokovani, ked viza stoja 25 USD na vacsine letisk. Neostavalo nam ale nic ine, ako si o ne poziadat a nakoniec slecna este povedala, ze zajtra rano si mame po ne prist (mysleli sme si, ze nam ich daju na pockanie), takze to nebolo tiez moc prijemne – platit 2x tolko, ako je bezne a este na ne cakat cez noc. Najsmutnejsie na tom je to, ze tieto informacie nemaju nikde na nete, iba na plagatoch pri okienku (asi vedia, preco to nezverejnuju). Z ambasady sme isli hned na vylet na ostrov Mamutik.
Lod bola rychla, v pohode (25MYR). Cestou sme si kupili este jednu masku a snorchel (30 MYR). Pekne nam zacalo prsat a Sasi bolo do placu, po prichode na ostrov vyslo slnko, takze sme sa mohli pekne snorchlovat, voda super, vsade kopec ryb, zopar peknych koralov. Na ostrove bolo nejake jednoduche ubytovanie, ale extremne predrazene (200 alebo 300MYR/noc) a bolo tam taktiez vela turistov hlavne z Taiwanu, Honkongu a Ciny. Vsetci mali pri snorchlovani kriklave vesty (lifejacket), aby sa neutopili, tak to vyzeralo ako skola plavania. Na druhej casti plaze boli drobne meduzy, ktore trochu prhlili, takze to nebolo najprijemnejsie. Ked sa znovu spustil lejak, schovali sme sa pod stan do dive centra, kde sa zrovna mladi anglicania ucili teoriu (pekne miesto na ucenie potapat sa, ale asi trochu drahe). V podstate na Filipinach boli obdobne ostrovy, ale nie tak preplnene ludmi. Pri navrate nas zase zastihol lejak, takze trochu vzrusa na koniec vyletu. Cesta na hotel bola trochu smyklava, lebo chodniky maju vyobkladane obkladackami. Vseobecne v meste bolo vidiet, ze zivotna uroven je dost vysoka, v KK plno obchodnych centier, bank, hotelov, restauracii a taxikov. Mestska doprava nic moc. Vecer sme isli pozriet na vecerny market, kde sme sa najedli za 7MYR obaja, jedlo bolo super, dali sme si zas cerstvy kokosovy orech, pricom sme pozerali ako mladi asi 8 rocni malajci tancuju moderne tance. Sasa si s nimi trochu zatancovala. Po veceri sme isli na hotel a oddychovali. Dalsie rano som sa vybral po viza, Sasa sa zatial pobalila a vyrazili sme na cestu do Sandakanu. Na stanici sa na nas vrhli konduktori z 5 spolocnosti, ktori nam chceli predat listok a hucali tak, ze sme sa ani nepoculi. Tak sme si vybrali bus, ktory uz mal odist. Cesta do Sandakanu bola pekna, prechadzali sme cez kopce s vyhladom na nadherne udolia.
